In the past, scans by other software makers have been very cpu intensive, have taken a long time to complete and have not satisfactorily done their job. I wasn’t really aware of this until I used RegCure. It is fast, smooth, does not tax the system resources. Moreover, RegCure has actually resolved problems in a number of programs that were beginning to have anomalous problems; such as my expensive Adobe Photoshop! A slick addition to the package is the option of XoftSpySE, Paretologic’s answer to eliminating spyware. This product too has a great interface and works seamlessly to rid the system of malware. As with all products there can be problems and in my case I had an over zealous Norton anti-virus that committed some “friendly fire”. The customer service support team at Paretologic is the best I’ve ever dealt with. They were without a doubt the most professional and attentive customer service group I have ever encountered. Using a veritable arsenal of tech savvy, they went the extra mile to be sure my system was in top shape before proceeding with regular use of their products. I have a 1 year old Dell Latitude D620 that I use for business. Approximately 6 months after purchasing the computer it started putting up a message each time I turned it on that opened in the Windows Desktop after I logged onto it.
